Ok, so this update's a bit late! Sorry about that. As it turned out, Ben was able to join Matt and Thomas in Deloraine, and Humphrey, our all-purpose helping hand came along for the ride too! This gig came in two parts. First we played in the hall while the kids jumped on a bouncy castle and did other activities. It's always tough to play while kids are doing something else, but we were able to involve a few kids in the songs, and we had fun too. :) Later we played a few songs in the actual carols event, which went down really well, despite the lack of oddsox members! The kids especially loved the Banana song. Thanks for having us, Deloraine! :D

Gig: Scottsdale Community Carols

Oddsox will be amongst the many acts featured at this evening of Christmas carols. Please come along to sing together, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. Includes a BBQ! :)

UPDATE: 12-Dec
Scottsdale Carols by Candlelight was an enjoyable community event that it was a privilege to be a part of. We played three of our regular Oddsox songs (Shake, It's Enough and Banana) as well as providing the music for the community carols. It was one of the largest crowds we've played for, and even though we were missing Isaac's guitar and Ben's drums, the rest of the gang pulled off an exceptional performance.

Special thanks to Jared Forrest of Entertainment Solutions for invaluable help not only with overcoming some technical issues at this gig, but for generously providing PA gear over the whole tour. Jared, You Rock!

Gig: Holy Trinity Anglican Church

Oddsox are travelling down to Hobart again, to play at Holy Trinity Anglican Church during their 10am service.

UPDATE 12-Dec 05:
We had great fun down at Holy Trinity. We travelled down the night before and set up the next morning. We played It's Enough and The Sheep Song in the main church service before heading next door to the parish centre for about an hour of Oddsox fun! The 15 or so kids were full of energy and very excited to dance and sing about Jesus. Despite missing Isaac on guitar, it was a great gig! Praise God!
